The promenade is the main tourist attraction of the area, where there are stalls peddling, ice-cream parlours, Passacaglia, cocktail bars and everything without breaking anything tradition. Above all, Conil de la Frontera is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the finer things in life.
Places to visit and things to do: there are a variety of things to see, from the alleys and stunning views of Vejer de la Frontera, the beautiful city of Cádiz, the old fortress and kite Tarifa surfing, wineries and Jerez Andalusian horses, flamenco and Seville Orange, Baelo Claudio on the beach Roman ruinsnear Bologna, to the Eagles, chameleons, Lynx, otters and multitude of other species that are found in national parks. For some emotion added in the summer, Aqualand Bahía Water Park in Puerto de Santa Maria or Jerez racing circuit.
There are plenty of activities to participate in, in and around Conil de la Frontera. Crystal clear beautiful beaches, small coves with clean water, and open offer the opportunity to participate in water sports such as swimming, windsurfing, surfing, Bodyboarding, kitesurf, diving, fishing in high seas, diving, canoeing and sailing.
Beaches: Beaches offer is unlimited, but we travel from North to South on the coast: the coves of Roche, perfect for refuge a day of lift; the Cala del Aceite, next to the port, suitable for families; The Roche and the Fuente del Gallo, all of them between wild cliffs; La Fontanilla, one of the best in service and quality of Conil; The Bateles, closest to town; Castilnovo, 3 km of beach that runs from Conil to El Palmar; El Palmar, white and fine sand with lots of dunes; Mangueta, 3 km of Virgin beach of El Palmar to Zahora; Zahora, Caños de Meca and many more. In many of them you can practice Nudism.
Conil de la Frontera, like much of the Costa de la Luz, has managed to avoid mass tourism and offers a taste of the reaL Andalusia. Located on the edge of a stretch of 15 miles of stunning Beach, and with over 300 days of sunshine, combines the beauty of a village of white slopes with the charm of a traditional fishing village. The people are very friendly and there is a relaxed atmosphere.
It is also an ideal starting point to visit the main tourist attractions nearby, such as the Royal Andalusian School of the art equestrian, in Jerez, whale watching in Tarifa, etc.
