    “Die Straße vor dem Objekt ist gut befahren (Hauptstraße), das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Dennoch muss man aufpassen, denn die Autos fahren schnell und es gibt keine Bürgersteige. Das könnte mit kleinen Kindern und Kinderwagen unbequem werden. Der Ort ist klein, es gibt einen Tante-Emma-Laden, in dem man morgens Brötchen kaufen kann. Das Schöne ist, dass man vom Ferienhaus aus die Hauptstraße überqueren und zum Weg am See kommen kann. Hier geht man erst ein Stück am Bahndamm entlang, unterquert diesen dann und ist direkt am See. Der Strand ist schön, aber ohne Badeschuhe nicht genießbar. Man kann kaum laufen vor Kies. Also Badeschuhe! Der Weg am See entlang ist wunderbar. Die Sicht phänomenal und am Mini-Bötchen-Hafen geht es dann hoch zum Ort, wo der Bäcker ist. Aber Vorsicht! Auch hier sind die Gehwege wenn überhaupt nur extrem schmal und die Autos/Lkw schnell! Wenn man schwungvoll aus dem Geschäft kommt und nicht aufpasst, kann es böse enden. Der Ort selbst ist charmant und im typisch mediterranen-alten Flair, der typisch für die Gegend ist, gehalten. Es gibt die eine oder andere Pizzeria, die uns empfohlen wurde, die wir aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht ausprobieren konnten.”

    “Das Ostufer des Comer Sees ist ruhiger, als das Westufer. Dorio ist ein sehr kleiner Ort. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und wenn man möchte fährt man einfach in den nächst größeren Ort zum Beispiel nach Dervio. Bis Mailand sind es nur 70km.”
