Ventimiglia: panoramic house in the medieval part 10-15 minutes walk from the sea
This 100 square meters house is in a small square in the heart of the medieval city centre which is perched on a hill overlooking the new town.
The house has two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. two bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed which can be used a a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and two balconies with an open view on Ventimiglia and the surrounding hills. The living room and the kitchen have a large flat TV where you can watch foreign channels. The house, which is furnished with antique furniture, all modern appliances and a centralized heating, has been recently renovated. Towels and bed sheets are provided as well as free wi-fi Internet access.
There are two balconies where you can enjoy the view of Ventimiglia and the surrounding hills. The balcony next to the kitchen is equipped with a table and chairs.
The old part of Ventimiglia is made of narrow streets and is only for pedestrians. Parkings are 200-300 meters from the property. Shops and restaurants are a short walk from the house. The beaches are also a few hundred meters away.
The center of the medieval quarter is only 50 meters away. There are two restaurants on the square (200 meters from the property). The only sand beach is a 10-15 minutes walk away and can only be reached on foot though a path starting from Forte dell'Annunziata whch is on the main raod leading to the old part of Ventimiglia. All the other beaches in Ventimiglia are pebble beaches.
There is also a free of charge sand beach 15 minutes on foot from the house. Besides the Friday market with 500 stalls, there is another market in Ventimiglia that is a special place for anyone who loves good food. It is the covered market, open 7 days a week, a couple of hundred meters from the beachfront, which has the finest and freshest produce, fruit, vegetables, cheeses, pasta, meat, fresh seafood and flowers that the region has to offer.
