The castle Spøttrup, Jesperhus floral park and the museum Hjerl Hede are situated close to the house. The house is located adjacent close to a nature reserve. The house is ideally located at the end of a path with a view over a child-friendly beach. You can plan a small excursion to the limestone mines in Mønsted or Daugbjerg, where lime was mined until hundred years ago. This mine is also home to thousands of bats.
