The rural location in Västergötland and active farming in the closest vicinity lets you experience Sweden up close. You are also close to the spa Lundsbrunn and Mariedal Castle, where there is a magnificent golf course. The sandy beaches on Lake Vänern are not far away. The Göta Canal is one of the pearls of Vänern and Sjötorp is a very popular place to spend your vacation. There are fantastic bike paths along the canal, also a bike rental is nearby. You can also take a passenger boat on the lake Vänern or on the canal (M/S Bellevue). It is nice to go through the locks of the canal and relaxing at the same time.
