Holiday apartments with interiors of a high standard, in a detached holiday house

This holiday house enjoys a fabulously quiet location at the heart of the Black Forest, amidst the Blindensee nature reserve, surrounded by forest, meadows and fields, somewhat outside of the holiday and spa town of Schönwald.

All the apartments have parking spaces and a garage right by the house. There is free use of a sauna area for relaxing. You can cool off with direct access to the snow, or in summer to the outdoor terrace with a shower, and of course its own water source from the Black Forest. Our sauna loungers are available in the relaxation room, as well as on the lawn. There is a big swinging grill on site, inviting you to enjoy grill evenings on balmy summer evenings, with Schwarzwald bacon. The sitting area, the firewood and the good country air provide everything you need, so all you need to do is light the grill. The whole site is fenced, so children and dogs can run around freely.

The three holiday apartments are delightfully, charmingly and comfortably furnished and decorated in a country house style and provide plenty of space for a relaxing holiday. The holiday apartment on the first floor is for four people and measures 150m². The holiday apartment is on the second floor and measures 80m², while the third, is on the ground floor and also measures 80m². The latter two apartments are each suitable for two people.

There is plenty to explore on foot or by mountain bike all around Schönwald. As soon as you leave the site you are on a high hiking trail. It is just a few minutes’ walk, 300 metres, to the Blindensee, a lake steeped in myth in the midst of a high moor. Specially laid wooden walkways lead you into a world with unique flora and fauna. You can also walk into the town within about half an hour. There is a hiking map in the accommodation. You can discover the Schneckenwanderweg, a hiking trail, where you have to walk slowly and attentively. Riding stables, restaurants and the ski piste are 2km away. The town 4km away has an outdoor pool, shopping facilities and entertainment awaiting your visit.

You automatically receive the Konus card with many inclusive services, such as free use of all public buses and regional trains, and free entry to many museums, swimming pools etc.

Please note that the sauna and the garage can only be used with advance booking. Please indicate this when making your booking. A fee is charged for the use of the garage and for the final cleaning of the sauna.

Holiday Apartment in Schönwald Im Schwarzwald with Outdoor Terrace and Extensive View

The holiday apartment is suitable for two people and comprises 80m² of living space, with a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with an integrated kitchen and a balcony, and a bathroom with a shower and bath. The bedroom has a generous double bed (200 x 200cm), with bedside tables and reading lamps on either side. Next to the bed there is a generous wardrobe with three elements and a door with a mirror. The two windows, which allow ample daylight in, afford an extensive view out onto greenery. You go past the open kitchen to the living room, where you can relax on a day trip on a very comfortable sofa or on the upholstered armchair. An external door leads out on the left side onto the balcony. A flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver provides entertainment in the evening. A dining table with four chairs allows you to enjoy meals together and there is a big display cabinet, with all the right glasses for a drink in the evening. The kitchen enables convenient self-catering with a dishwasher, a stove with four rings and an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. Plenty of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses and cups are provided. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and a bath, a washbasin with a big mirror, a cosmetic mirror, towels, a hairdryer, a WC and bidet.

There is a balcony of around 10m², where you can sit and also enjoy breakfast.
