Family-friendly, comfortable holiday apartment with a garden

This holiday apartment stands alone, just 2km from the town of Bad Sachsa on the Katzenstein in the southern Harz region, above the fairytale park, with a view of the Harzfalkenhof, a park with birds of prey, and at the foot of the Ravensberg with a winter sports centre.

The 60m² renovated and modern apartment is on the first floor of a restored timber-framed house. It provides a big living room with a dining table, a big (48”) flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver, a CD and DVD player. The bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200cm), while the children’s room has a single bed (90 x 200cm) and a big bunk bed (90 x 200cm). There is also a fully-equipped kitchen including a stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, various coffee machines, a mixer, a toaster and a kettle. The bathroom has a bath, a cupboard with a mirror and an integrated shower. There is also a separate toilet and there is a hallway with a wardrobe. Wireless Internet access is available.

The fenced outdoor area (3300m²) has garden furniture with a parasol, a brick-built grill, a children’s playground and a lawn. The owners can lend you a men’s and lady’s mountain bike. You can park your car on site.

The site provides direct access to an extensive network of hiking trails, some of which lead right to the town of Bad Sachsa.

    “Positiv: Sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. (war genau nach unserem Geschmack)
    Die Ferienwohnung ist in dem Fachwerkhaus welches mal ein Berghotel war.
    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben nichts zu beanstanden :)
    Die Lage des Objektes ist etwas abgelegen und schön ruhig.

    Klare Weiterempfehlung

    PS: Vom Fenster aus kann man die tägl. Flugshow des Harzfalkenhofes gut beobachten, bekommt aber ansonsten nichts von dem betrieb dort mit. sehr angenehm”

    “Prachtig appartement in een mooi oud historisch hotel. Het ligt in een prachtige bosrijke omgeving direct naast het roofvogel park. Het appartement is schoon, netjes, heel en ziet er zeer goed en verzorgd uit. Een geweldige top locatie!
    De verhuurder(s) zijn geweldige mensen. Vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam.
    Verder is alles op kleine afstand te vinden in het stadje.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und gut eingerichet. Besonders für Urlaub mit Hunden ist die Lage etwas außerhalb des Ortes mitten im Wald sehr schön. Aber auch für Kinder durch die unmittelbare Nähe zum Falkenhof und zum Märchengrund ist die Lage gut.”
