From the terrace, you can oversee the hustle and bustle of the harbour and also enjoy the fresh sea breeze. The sky in the peninsula Sjællands Odde is characterised by a special light. This hilly region is influenced by the ice age. The peninsula is also a paradise for anglers. Havnebyen, the only proper fishing port with boats and a fish smoke house is nearby. You can buy freshly smoked fish. If you get to Gniben, at the very top of the peninsula, you can go fishing on the beach. You can also take a stroll through the Artillery School of the Army. You can visit the Summerland Sjælland with your family, which provides activities for all age groups. The 13th century fairytale castle of Dragsholm is worth a visit. It houses a ghost and an excellent gourmet restaurant. A cosy climate, a fish smoke house with an attached restaurant and the ferry service to North Zealand awaits your arrival in the harbour of Rørvig. Enjoy smoked fish while your children catch crabs on the pier.
